Highs and Lows

Will and Mommy have had quite a time over the past 24 hours while Daddy was out of town for work! Here's a breakdown of what's been going on with us:

Low--Will has been colicky and gassy. Lots of crying and no way to sooth him till he cries it out, poops it out, or spits it out!
High--Mom came up last night on last minute's notice to help give moral support, help with Will, and help me catch up on housework while Jeff was gone for work for the night.
Low--Temporarily lost Jones last night (for 10 minutes tops). He ran away to play with some dogs around the corner in our neighborhood.
High--Heard him howling, so I left Will with mom to go hoofing it on foot. Found him on a porch howling at a couple dogs (and the curious and disturbed owner) inside the front window.
Low--Will and I are missing Jeff but are so glad he'll be home all weekend and all next week!
